Theoretical Foundations

The School Psychology program builds and extends on the foundational knowledge that you have obtained in your undergraduate psychology degree. Coursework is focused on developing a theoretical understanding of learning and behaviour in a developmental context, as well as conceptual framework for professional practice as a psychologist.

Practical Applications

The development of practical skills is integrated throughout all courses in the School Psychology program. Classroom-based learning is supplemented with intensive practica in school-based intervention and assessment. These practicum experiences culminate in a 600-hour internship.
